Unlimited Communication

Communication opportunities for our little friends

UuLApp  does not aim to create a new social media space for pupils in no case, as it would contravene many of countries' legislation (see USA, UK, etc.). Instead of that, UuLApp  must facilitate e-learning but also this platform constitutes a way of communicating between students, a class, a classroom, a tutorial etc.

Τhis platform offers them the opportunity to communicate and ensures them as individuals, as students, as users! Therefore our little friends are provided with the ability to communicate unobtrusively regarding education, as well as they can easily exchange notes, files and others with their friends, classmates, or between any group involved.

This is a completely safe system with all the necessary controls required for a proper communication and use. Practically, it΄s about a digital single student area that children (students) could safely extend their social circle and enrich their knowledge through e-learning courses from all over the world !!!

Main characteristics of the pupils' communication system:

The main feature of this application is that the communication of small users will be kept completely safe through a series of measures described below:

1. Users will not be able to open a new account on their own, nor change their account details in order to have a stable and meaningful control over the user's profile and age, while ensuring that everyone is correctly identified.

2. All accounts will only be opened from each pupil's school after registering at UuLApp  and after sending pupils' personal data.Students' personal data (address, phone numbers, etc.) will not be retained by the platform except for the age and the level of school education (eg 1st grade).
Based on the name list per class sent to us by the school, a unique ID will be given for each student .After that the data will be registered into the system and then the new lists will be sent back to the school in order to have an array with the other data .

3. To complete the process of a new account, a second passcode should be entered after a parent's approval.

4. The child's contacts with it's peers will be recorded and maintained as a unique case for each user, easily accessible even to the child itself.
Therefore, teacher and student could discuss all the movements  that the student has made in order to learn and correct his mistakes for a future use. It is worth noting here that the record will be visible only for the first year.
Afterwards, the record will undergo only for security reasons and only teachers will be able to go back to it.

5. In the future, spell check and check of correct vocabulary will be added to all the conversations, thereafter in a second phase we could shut out insults and bad expressions from inter-conversations and online activities.

Naturally, all the above mechanisms will be completely discreet so that children can act and interact freely within a controlled and completely protected environment. Another feature and unique privilege of this website is that each school and institution involved has the ability to create e-classes where courses of general or specific content will be carried out (e-learning). These courses may be part of existing courses already provided during school hours (such as extra exercises or additional tasks) or maybe lessons outside school hours or even lessons for pupils of other schools. These lessons could  be provided either for free or on a fee. In older ages, it is possible to create halls in which many schools could participate at the same time. Another level of security that will be also provided is that all users (considering the duration of their education)will change level of "broadness", ie:

Pupils who start entering the system for the first time will only be able to interact with their classmates or their peers and always from the same school. As a reward after a year of acquaintance with the system, knowing now enough about online communication, they will have the opportunity to interact on-line with other children of another school, but always children of the same age. When children are over 13 years old and use the system for at least 2 years, they will now be able to associate with all the high schools in their area or all over the country. It goes without saying that the level of active help will change considering the level of social broadness of each user.
Every time that the level of user's broadness scale increases small tests will be given in order to confirm the correct use and understanding of the principles previously taught. Students will also be able to upload their photos but before the process is completed, a small alert message will be sent out informing the small user about the dangers of this action(for example he or she should know that other users will be able to see the photo uploaded to his /her profile and that the particular photo will be stored on the server of the company providing the UULAPP site etc.).

Summing up all the above, we conclude that both our epoch and the Internet itself require immediate education and protection towards the weak social groups that minors represent.
